On 10 August 2020, the ESEC was asked by the government to examine a revised version of the draft planning law on inclusive development and the fight against global inequalities. The committee is issuing a follow-up opinion on this bill, which follows on from the one issued in February 2020 and the one issued in 2016 on French international cooperation policy under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
