- Links with the European ESC: The ESEC maintains close relations with the European Economic and Social Committee (ESEC) through a partnership agreement. Regular exchanges between members and administrations take place in Paris or Brussels. The partnership between the two institutions encourages hearings as part of work with a strong European dimension, participation in plenary sessions, and the co-organisation of events on subjects of common interest.
- The Erasmus of organised civil societies: Launched in April 2023 by the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (ESEC), the "Erasmus of organised civil societies" initiative has established itself as a forum for exchange and cooperation between European economic and social councils.
Through thematic meetings, this initiative has brought together council representatives to discuss issues of common interest, such as demographic challenges, the reindustrialisation of the continent and the attractiveness of rural areas. These exchanges have enabled best practice to be shared, national approaches to be compared and collective solutions to shared challenges to emerge. The initiative highlights the growing importance of cooperation between organised civil societies. The ESEC's relations with other EU Councils : The CESlink community was created by a joint decision in 2000 by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the national Economic and Social Councils and similar institutions in the EU. The CESlink portal provides a "one-stop shop" to the world of the Economic and Social Councils and similar institutions operating in the European Union.
All opinions and reports issued by Economic and Social Councils in Europe are available in the documentary database under "Access to the opinions of the European ESC."
