ESEC bilateral cooperation and partenership
Corps
- Cooperation agreements with other ESCs: In a bid to strengthen ties with its international counterparts, the ESEC has for several years been developing an active policy of institutional cooperation. By signing agreements with other economic and social councils and similar institutions around the world, the ESEC promotes dialogue between organised civil societies. These agreements aim to facilitate exchanges of expertise, encourage joint initiatives on subjects of common interest - such as sustainable development, social inclusion and civic participation - and strengthen the contribution of socio-economic players to democratic governance. They are also an essential lever for civil society diplomacy, promoting dialogue across national borders in a spirit of solidarity, cooperation and joint construction.
- Hosting foreign delegations to the ESEC: the ESEC regularly welcomes foreign delegations, providing an opportunity to discuss its work and operations.
